Research & Teaching
Hi, I'm Jonny-Bix. I'm a Berlin-based curator, dramaturg, artist and researcher working across performance, AI and digital culture.
I create exhibitions, performances and public programmes that explore how new technologies shape the way we relate to one another, tell stories and imagine the future.
I'm interested in making complex technological and social questions tangible through artistic experiences that invite curiosity, conversation and new perspectives.
About
RESEARCH & TEACHING
How can complex technological and social systems become something we can examine and test together?I develop seminars, workshops and game-based formats that move between theory, artistic practice and experimentation. My current teaching focuses on artificial intelligence, digital culture, storytelling, archives and future thinking.
AI, AUTOMATION AND THE PLATFORM ECONOMY
HWR Berlin, 2026
Lecturer and course designer
HWR Berlin, 2026
Lecturer and course designer
A research seminar examining how artificial intelligence, automation and platform economies reshape work, value creation and everyday life. Over the course of the semester, students develop their own research projects, moving from an initial case study and research question to methods, literature review, writing and the transparent use of AI.
STORYTELLING IN BUSINESS
HWR Berlin, 2024–2026
Lecturer and course designer
HWR Berlin, 2024–2026
Lecturer and course designer
A semester-long seminar exploring how narratives operate within organisations, business communication and future-making. Moving between narratology, organisational storytelling, sustainability reporting and speculative scenarios, students develop a critical Storytelling Journal that connects theoretical ideas to their own professional and social contexts.

Folkwang University of the Arts × Berlin University of the Arts, 2026–ongoing
Research associate, curation and production
Within MIDAP, I develop artistic research and teaching formats that explore how collaboration, performance and artistic learning can take place across distance. I curate and produce public open calls that connect students and teachers from Folkwang and UdK Berlin through shared artistic experiments.
