Hi, I'm Jonny-Bix. I'm a Berlin-based curator, dramaturg, artist and researcher working across performance, AI and digital culture.
I create exhibitions, performances and public programmes that explore how new technologies shape the way we relate to one another, tell stories and imagine the future.
I'm interested in making complex technological and social questions tangible through artistic experiences that invite curiosity, conversation and new perspectives.

Reclaiming Data is a symposium and exhibition that brings together artists, researchers, students, and cultural institutions to explore how artificial intelligence, digital archives, and data infrastructures are transforming collective memory. Across two days, the program moves between keynote, screening, workshops, panel discussions, performance, and exhibition, creating a space in which artistic, theoretical, and institutional perspectives can meet.

Phantom, you are not my kin!/Drostes Hände

These two works approach identity, technological perception, and cultural memory through the poetry and image of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff.
In Phantom, you are not my kin!, a historical dressing table becomes an interactive mirror, responding to visitors’ facial expressions with fragments of Droste’s poetry. Drostes Hände follows three generative AI models as they each reinterpret the same historical portrait of the poet. Both works ask how computational systems influence the ways we see ourselves and the images of the past we pass on.

In the digital age, the self becomes a curatorial practice: we stage, edit, and present our identities, shaping avatars, social media profiles, and digital personas.
The exhibition ATTENTION IS ALL I NEED explores how digital self-representation transforms into an artistic practice. A diverse group of media artists examines the tension between individual autonomy and algorithmic control: What freedoms does the digital self offer? What constraints arise from the mechanics of visibility? Through a fusion of deepfakes, 3D avatars, and social media performances, the exhibition investigates how technology shapes identity—oscillating between playful reinvention and capitalist determinism.

Realtime Affairs
Event Series
The REALTIME AFFAIRS event series is a regular meet-up for artists, designers, and interested audiences who are passionate about audiovisual performances and immersive experiences. The aim is to present formats on the interdisciplinary border of performing arts, gaming, and media art. The format initiated by DOCKDigital, in collaboration with the Berlin University of the Arts, is intended to function as a regular meeting point, hosting discussion formats, try-out presentations and panels. Our goal is to create a vibrant space for sharing ideas, supporting each other and exploring novel approaches.

Weak Signals - New Narratives in Art and Technology
Glossary contribution
Art and technology know lots of tricks. They can spot little sings in different parts of society. These weak signals might show us new trends or big changes coming. They enable us to consider the unknown future not as a threat, but as a resource for new narratives.This little pocket book, edited by Lukas Feireiss and Florian Hadler and designed by Studio Yukiko, playfully identifies some of these "Weak Signals". As a glossary of new terminologies and neologisms, it curates, archives, copies, combines and compiles ideas, texts and images using a cut-up technique. It brings together human-written and AI-generated texts in a flat hierarchical manner and provides a vast array of hyperlinks that form an intricate web of endless references.
